Description :-  The HeatTrak Industrial Snow-Melting Walkway Mat is an electrically heated mat designed to prevent snow and ice accumulation around the home or facility. As opposed to the HeatTrak Residential Products which are made exclusively for residential use, the HeatTrak Industrial products are designed for commercial facilities or areas with heavy foot traffic. The Industrial Walkway Mat is made of an electrically operated heating element sandwiched between two protective surfaces of flame retardant reinforced SBR rubber, making it as durable as automobile tires and allowing it to endure harsh wear. The mat can be secured to the ground using its built-in grommet holes and is designed to be left outside for the entire winter season. Each Industrial Snow-Melting Walkway Mat comes with its own ELCI plug (equipment leakage circuit interrupter). A dedicated nonground fault protected outlet, protected by a 30mA circuit breaker, will be required.Outlet should have appropriate label indicating it is a non-GFCI outlet Optional Accessories :- HR-WIRELESS :- The 15 Amp Wireless Remote Control Outlet & Switch allows you to turn your mats on and off from inside your home or facility with just the click of a button. Red and green light indicators let you know when the mats are on or off.  The 2-outlet design allows two mat systems to be plugged in at the same time.  Rated for outdoor use. 100 ft range, 120V, 15 Amps. HR-THERM3550 :- This thermostat will automatically turn on your mats when the temperature drops below 35 degrees (F). The Thermostat Extension Cable is simple to use. Plug one end directly into any 120V outlet and the other end into your mat’s Power Unit. The Thermostat Extension Cable has an LED indicator that illuminates when the thermostat is activated. It will remain activated until the ambient temperature rises above 50 degrees (F). DS-2B :- The DS-2B is a snow sensing controller that will turn the mat on whenever it senses moisture AND the temperature is below 38 degrees Fahrenheit. This controller must be hardwired into the circuit by a certified electrician. Each DS-2B can handle up to 30 amps on a 240V outlet or up to 15 amps on a 120V outlet.   sku = HTM486B
