Don't let the name fool you Acid Dyes do not contain acid or any other harmful chemicals. The only thing acidic is the white vinegar that you add! Considered non-toxic when used properly. Each 1/2 ounce bottle of dye is highly concentrated and will dye up to 2 lbs. of fabric (a lot of silk or wool!)
