Decor for your home, gifts, clothes for you or your kids? There is no limit to what you will be able to create once you learn the basics! All ability levels welcome, no experience at all necessary! Weekly machine sewing lessons at your location anywhere in the Austin area! With Jillian of Austin Sewing Lessons. Each lesson is approx. 2 hours. Flexible scheduling: mornings or afternoons, some evening and weekend availability. Classes run in four week blocks and can be continued month to month as long as you wish. Create fun projects while learning new skills and build on skills with each lesson. *For adult lessons I like to tailor the projects to what you are most interested in making whether it's clothes, bags, pillows, blankets, accessories. We'll chat about your ideas when we go over scheduling and be able to do a few projects over the 4 week course. I may also give homework or suggestions to try out in between classes! Sewing machine can be provided for lessons if you do not have one yet. OPTION A : MATERIALS INCLUDED $350 (50% deposit=$175) For this option, all materials are supplied including tools, thread, needles, sewing machine, notions, fabric scissors, pins, etc and all materials and fabric for each project including a variety of fabric choices for each project. This option is great if your family has no sewing experience or supplies and you are starting from scratch! OPTION B: MATERIALS NOT INCLUDED $275 (50% deposit=$137.50) For this option we will settle on a starter project and I will give you a list of materials, amounts of fabric, etc. For each subsequent project, you'll also be given a list of fabrics to select for each of the projects including amount. OPTION C: ONE TIME GET TO KNOW YOUR MACHINE CLASS $80 Just want a general overview to get you started? In this one time 2 hr session we will set up your machine (or bring one to try out), go over all the basic parts, functions, how to thread, etc and practice some basic stitching. If you decide to continue with more lessons, the cost will go towards a four week package. FOR ADULTS I TEND TO RECOMMEND OPTION B vs A SO THAT YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR OWN MATERIALS AND GET FAMILIAR WITH SHOPPING FOR WHAT YOU NEED, BUT YOU DO HAVE THE OPTION OF A IF IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO GET YOUR MATERIALS FOR LESSON PACKAGES 50% DEPOSIT DUE NOW TO SECURE RESERVATION AND REMAINING DEPOSIT DUE PRIOR TO FIRST LESSON.
