What Is Included: Flash Heater Head (Box 1) Flash Stand (Box 2) Locking casters & Leveling Feet User Manual Most flash dryers in this price range use Spiral Wire elements like you see in the photo below (Competitor 1 below). A BBC BlackFlash uses a proprietary BBC Heating Elements (Made in the USA) with a single serpentine filament formed close together to provide consistent heat throughout the heating area(Picture 2 below). A Spiral Wire Element (Made in China) emits high intensity heat from its filament which are more widely spaced so you have very Hot and very Cold spots, which doesn't result in a consistent cure. The BBC Afford-A-Flash element, on the other hand, emits high intensity heat from its many coils which are much more tightly packed producing a massively more even temperature emission. The BBC Heating elements often reach similar operating temperatures at 20% less wattage which saves you money. These Hot and Cold spots are even more pronounced in the low end flashes made by Chinese and other American competitors. (Competitor 2 below).
