DIY planks. for rustic signs , wood board as home decor , interior DIY , weddings , photo props . this listing and price for ONE wooden board as pictured. the old weathered pine wood plank with rough finish . both sides are with nice structure. there are nails , patina , everything what's experienced on and with this piece . there is a nice story below about . very light pine wood scent from wood. size approx 10 1 /4 " wide and over 16 " long. thickness about 1 3/8 " . the wood solid in shape and strong. will work well as decor or for your crafts projects . photographers are welcome - great board as base for food photos or other rustic style , primitive photoshots. one as pictured , if you would like two of them - other very similar in size and structure , from the same historical plase , the same age and story :) . please contact about combined shipping quote if multiply items purchase from my shop. story time :) the wood boards comes from very old times from fishermens village in Riga Latvia Ķīpsala . there was ( it is still there ) small island with few fishermans family houses and each has ice cold coolrooms storages under house basements for fish storage . the river Daugava near and not far from the Baltic sea costs . this village had simple primitive wood houses , sheads and everyone was happy there . the river changed the streams since that , the island and village got more acres, the past times gone . there are no more cool basements , few wooden houses left as historical evidence and they under reconstruction . now the people there living in good price properties with the views to Daugava river , small yaht port near and views to old Riga town across the river . I am happy to own few wood boards from these very old times - found in restauration process and saved for my collection . the wood maybe was more than 100 y in a place , maybe much more , who knows anyway I fall in love with these pieces of wood. I do use them as base for photoshoots , I just looking at them with respect to past and I am happy to share few boards . they are highly priced , they very special to me . and if I let them to live next life in someones others home , please value them :) and yes , the wood tells you even more than this short story :)
