Our stretch stone bracelets are made for wearability and comfort, and can be worn alone or combined as an ensemble. (We highly recommend removing any stretch bracelet before showering, swimming, or during physical activity, and be careful stretching it excessively when taking on and off.) If you prefer a length or stone we don’t have in stock at the moment, please message us—we will accommodate any customer request we are able to!

PHYSICAL: Nephrite jade is one of the two minerals properly known as “jade”—the other being jadeite. Nephrite is composed of amphiboles from the tremolite-actinolite series; green jade such as this gets its color from iron inclusions (and occasionally chromium) in actinolite. Nephrite is known for its extremely high tenacity and durability, which has caused it to be used for choppers and implements since Neolithic times. Its relatively low hardness (resistance to scratching) makes it ideal for ornamental carvings, as seen here.

METAPHYSICAL/CULTURAL:  Jade is associated with healing, wealth, and abundance. It is highly prized in the East especially, but varieties of jade in all colors are valued by ancient and modern cultures around the world.

Though many gems and minerals have historical and cultural associations with healing properties, these items are sold for wear in jewelry, display, study, and collector interest only.
