Our beeswax is a natural bi-product of the processing of Wai Meli Local Raw Honey. Organic and free of chemicals, it emits a delightfully sweet aroma from the honey it once encased within the colony. You'll sometimes find minute pieces of propolis in our beeswax due to the minimal nature of processing. A powerful anti-microbial, propolis is created and used by the honey bees to keep the hives' immune system strong. In turn, our beeswax holds some of these immune-supportive properties as well.
