The finished camper should actually be a great addition to your travel collection. It's small enough to hang on your tree as a ornament, or can sit on it's own on a shelf too! Show off your handy work, too! If you're seriously into miniatures.. this kit is about a 1:40 scale.

As with all our designs, this one comes flat-packed in a tiny pocket sized pouch. Makes a great stocking stuffer! You'll just pop out the pieces and snap them together. No glue is required, but feel free to secure pieces permanently if you like. The kits are natural, light wood. You're welcome to paint and customize the designs in a way that makes it personal to you! These kits do make great gift ideas for anyone who appreciates the retro design. Tiny slots in the top let you put a hook through and hang on your tree! All 5 punch cards come wrapped with a simple set of instructions in the packet.

The birdhouse kit includes 24 small parts to build the miniature camper with awnings on 3 sides, plus curtains, a spare tire, leveling jack. Most of the details are individual pieces to make painting a breeze.

The finished size of the Desktop Mini is about 1/2 the size of the larger Bird house (see other listings) at around 4” long, 3” tall, and 3” wide. It still comes flat packed on 5 miniature cards in this tiny kit.

Ideal for ages 8 and up. Tiny parts would not be appropriate for small children.
