DuraPlus is designed to stay cool on the outside, to provide a hot draft on the inside, to boost stove efficiency and to provide for a fire-safe design that protects both the chimney and the building. This triple-wall chimney features two insulating layers (ceramic blanket, plus air space). The ceramic blanket insulation is held securely in position, eliminating hot spots common with loose-fill type insulations.

The DuraVent 6DP-SS is a starter section from the DuraPlus collection that is designed to be used for your all-fuel chimney system. This starter section is to be used when you convert from DuraLiner to DuraPlus while the DuraPlus chimney is enclosed in a chase. It measures 6 inches in diameter and has a height of 4 inches. It also features a precise twist-lock connection to create a secure and tight connection.
