home Looking for a professional super high gloss finish? Look no further. Crystal Clear Epoxy Resin, General Use, Professional-Grade, Bar & Wood Tabletop, Coating, Castings, Crafts, Jewelry, Artwork. This product cures very hard and displays good air release with superior chemical and water resistance. The completed product will be very rigid, smooth, clear, and display a brilliant high gloss finish similar to glass. Simple to use at a 1:1 mix ratio (By Volume) (Example 1 cup to 1 cup). Our Epoxy Resin is 100% made in the United States of America _____________________Please Note: This kit is 2 gallons total. (2-1/2 gallon Resin bottles and 2-1/2 gallon hardener bottles total 2 gallons. The resin weighs 8.2 lbs. and the hardener weighs 6.3 lbs. CuringThis product provides a quick cure and property development at ambient and low temperatures without accelerators and allows for a prompt return to service. The typical pot life on this item is roughly 45-50 minutes based on mass and temperature. Thin-film set time (3mil. film) is roughly 5 hours at 78F. Fast cure and green time while exhibiting low exothermic temperatures (120C.) make this product ideal for all applications. The full cure is 24 hours at normal conditions. Mixing Instructions- Easy mix 1:1 by volume, equal parts of each component. IMPORTANT: Quick Guide: Easy mix 1:1 by volume, equal parts of each component. Pour Part B Hardener FIRST into a mixing cup and Part A Resin Second. Scrape the corners, sides, and bottom of the containers frequently while mixing. Hand Stir with mixing stick for about 3-5 minutes until mixture is free and clear of all striations. When pouring onto your project, use what flows out (no longer a need to scrape the sides) to avoid unmixed product onto your project. Also, lifting the mixing stick while mixing can excessively whip the product and will add a tremendous amount of air bubbles that are difficult to remove. Allow the mixed products (Part A & B) to stand in your mixed cup for at least 5 minutes. This allows for bubbles to rise to the surface. Small castings and potting units may take longer to cure than larger items. Clean containers with mild soap and water. Improperly mixed epoxy can create a major mess. Thermoset plastics are temperature sensitive. Cold weather slows the curing process down, whereas heat speeds curing up. Ideally, the products should be mixed at room temperature. For best results, pour Epoxy into Hardener. Pour along the side of the container to help alleviate air entrapment. The product should be put away in a dry, safe, temperature-controlled condition. Always keep the lids tightly sealed when not in use. Keep in mind, oxygen and moisture oxidize and can quickly corrupt the epoxy and Hardener. Always keep the bottles sealed when not in use. While applying this product, use gloves, goggles, and proper safety equipment. Please refer to the safety data sheet before using any of our epoxy products.
