For mid-to-high range frequency sound absorption, the 2 thick acoustical wedge foam will be suitable. For mid-to-low frequency sound absorption, 3 thick wedge foam will be required. If you expect to experience a lot of low-frequency sound, your space will require 4 thick acoustical foam.
