Froebel Gift 1 - Yarn Balls

The first Froebel Gift consists of 12 soft yarn balls of approximately two inches in diameter -- two each in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple. One ball of each color has a string, (approx. 6 inches long) with a loop on one end so that they can be dangled. It is introduced while the child is still a toddler and is used with children ages 18+ mos (post teething) under adult participation.Froebel recognized that a ball is often a first or favorite toy of infants.
