Heirloom® Premium Cotton Blend is made from 80% long staple cotton fibers and 20% fine polyester. This combination of fibers creates a strong, longwearing batt and is very easy to handle. The batting is lightly needle punched and treated with a soft resin to provide stability to the fibers and prevent the polyester from bearding. Select Perfect Cotton Batting is made using no chemicals and no bleaching. This incredibly soft, high quality batting features a light scrim (foundation) which helps to control stretching and movement during quilting and embellishing. Hand or machine quilters can stitch without fear of distortion. The 100% cotton fibers have been needle punched, offering a smooth loft and superior support for your project! Ideal for hand or machine quilters.

Hobb's Heirloom Premium Batting is made from 80% dyed cotton and 20% fine polyester. Perfect for both machine and hand quilting, this lightly needle punched batting resists bearding and migrating. The light resin bonding provides extra strength and durability to your quilts. Prewashing is not recommended. Shrinkage of 3-5% is standard, leaving your quilt with an antique puckered appearance. Ideal for use with dark fabrics, Hobb's Heirloom Premium can be quilted up to 4 apart.
