EVOLUTION IN WASHING The IK Foam Pro 2 Sprayer changed the car wash process forever! It is the hoseless or waterless process you have been dreaming of! If you don't have easy access to running water like a garden hose, it creates a lot of issues when cleaning your car. Many of us live in an apartment or have a house but our hose will freeze in winter like here in Chicago. The IK Foam Pro 2 simply requires one of our essential soaps and water and you can easily wash your entire car! It will create thick foam that will encapsulate dirt and make the surface very slick, reducing the chance of scratching your paint massively. WHY WE USE IT We have always disliked detail spray. We don't sell any on this site and the entire idea of it is kind of broken. You either need to wash your car or you don't. Doing a half step with a liquid spray only results in dragging dirt across the paint in the second to worst case scenario. The worst being with flat out no lubrication of any kind. We use the IK Foamer because it permanently replaces the need for a detail spray but it acts like a pressure washer foamer. It's 100% mobile and only costs $36!!! It is simply put the best way to wash your car without a hose and even if you have a hose it will be the fastest way to clean your car safely if it's only mildly dirty. If your car is very dirty it is still a safe method, it will just take longer and use more towels. WHEELS AND TIRES The IK Foamer is amazing on paint but it works for so much more! Put Brake Buster or Gyeon Tire cleaner into an IK Foamer and you create amazing thick foam that will coat your wheels and tires! Combine that with one of our wheel and tire brushes and cleaning your wheels might actually become your favorite part of the wash! TOWELS If you're using the IK Sprayer as a waterless wash option or quick detail option, then be sure to have enough towels. Be sure to use proper towels. We recommend our Premium edge-less towels for this process. The key to this system working correctly is having a lot of towels so you're not using any dirty ones repeatedly. I recommend pairing your IK Foamer with a minimum of ten edge-less towels. We have IK Packages that take the guess work out of your order if this feels like an overwhelming new setup. It is really very simple once you see it all together in the packages page! LONGEVITY This product will last you many years. IK even includes extra foam filters in the box so you can swap them out every year or so. I have the original foam filter in my IK Foam Pro One and it still works perfectly and is nearly two years old. This is a complete package that is built extremely well! I do recommend that you keep fluids separate. If you want to use Brake Buster or Gyeon Tire Cleaner in your foamer, have an IK Foamer for wheels and for paint. Don't mix those chemicals through the same IK filter and internals. STATUS DETAIL RECOMMENDED SETUP We recommend you unscrew the purple front nozzle and you can pull a clear cylinder out. Inside this is a foam filter. The IK Foamer comes with extra foam filters in a plastic bag. We recommend you add one foam filter to the cylinder, then reinstall it. In our experience, this makes it foam better. When you unscrew the top of the IK sprayer so you can fill it up, you will see a gray nozzle in the underside of the black half you unscrewed. We recommend that you leave the gray nozzle installed for the best foam. This is how our IK Foamer is setup in our shop. THE TOTAL PACKAGE We recommend the IK Foam Pro 2 Package if you don't have essentials like soap and high quality microfiber towels. The 500 GSM Edge-less microfibers are the best towels you will ever use. The included soap has no additives and is highly concentrated. It can be used for normal bucket washes and dried with the microfiber towels giving you extra versatility. From the Manufacture The IK Foam Pro 2 Sprayer allows you to apply a thick layer of cleaning foam with ease! The Pro 2 takes everything we love from the already awesome IK Foam 1.5 Sprayer and simply enhances it for a more user-friendly experience. This high-quality bottle will allow you to apply a nice layer of foam to your vehicle to help you pre-treat the surface and remove dirt and grime safely. Add your shampoo or APC and water to the reservoir, screw on the top, pump up the pressure and apply by pushing the thumb trigger at the top of the handle. You will instantly have a layer of foam will stick to the paint, allowing the shampoo to help loosen contamination. Check out the 50-ounce capacity, new non-wobble base, and finger indentations at the top of the bottle for easy grip when screwing the top on and off. This new larger capacity allows for more air to get into the tank, which means more pressure and more foam! The bottle is still made out of the strong material, slightly translucent, but now also features indicator lines for easy dilution. New features with the trigger lock (on/off) protects from accidental discharges and it will automatically depressurization if over-pumped until you are at a safe pressure level. Three mixers allow for 3 types of foam, orange for wet foam, grey for medium foam and green for dry (airy) foam. All of the seals, plastic parts and washers are resistant to most acids and solvents used in chemicals, so this bottle will last. If you are looking for a great handheld sprayer, the IK Foam Pro 2 Sprayer is a fantastic choice! IMPORTANT - Run water through the unit and depressurize before storing.
