Its hooked-end cutter easily slices through packing tape, envelopes, cardboard and even clamshell packaging. For safety, the 1 7/8 blade has a blunted tip and locks in the open position. It also has a 1 curved secondary cutting edge. The blade is stainless steel with a Teflon coating; the key-shaped handle is tough glass-filled nylon with a hole for attaching to a key ring.
