E. Tage Larsen is an artist, designer, and creative professional who lives and works in New York City. His works have appeared in Society of Illustrators annuals, American Illustration, and Print Magazine Design Annual. In addition to being an artist, he has also had the fortune to work with some of the best galleries in the world, on fine art major gallery exhibitions of Renaissance, Barbizon, Modernist painting and sculpture and most recently international Contemporary Art.   This piece appears to be one of his earliest works that he painted in 1993 as part of a class project when he was attending the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.  It is signed, dated, and labeled.  Larsen's talent is obvious.  This work is moving and powerful.  His use of color and texture draws you into a vortex centering around a haunting face with a spiritual presence.
