This resin is used in the same applications as ortho resin but where improved physical properties are desired (ie better bonding, more impermeability to moisture, better tensile strength etc.). It cures with a surface tack for better bonding between layers. Because of the surface tack there is no need for sanding between layers.  Orca 301 is pre-promoted for curing at room temperature with the addition of methyl ethyl ketone peroxide (MEKP) catalyst.
