Large stunning wallpaper roller which was used to print repeating wallpaper patterns on paper. This roller is a total beauty and is definitely one of a kind. This piece is made with solid wood and has a hollow core. Each roller is unique in terms of color, style, pattern and size. Each roller has a unique detailed pattern on it. You can use this as is or turn them into table lamps. We have some that are mounted on a stand and some that have been re purposed into a lamp- as you can see in the pictures. It is in great vintage condition- there might be slight scratches, patina, marks or wear which is normal with any vintage item. This item has a great historical importance in the printing industry- back in the day the artisans created beautiful patterns by tapping small metal pieces. They created both simple and complex patterns which included flowers, abstract and striped patterns.
