These are used in badges, cards, keychains, hanging door signs, hang tags or even ornaments which require a ribbon, string, keyring, wire or rope. Securing two or more pieces of paper together with the eyelet can create swatch books or movable figures. Eyelets also work well with hooks on double sided hanging posters.
