Want to add an additional layer of water resistance to your canvas pack or other fabric item? Using Otter Wax is an easy way to greatly improve the functionality and utility of virtually any item. It can be used to revive the waterproofing capabilities of factory-waxed or oiled clothing, and is also an excellent way to waterproof untreated fabrics. Use on a variety of clothing and equipment from jackets, to hats, to bags, to tents, and more. This Otterwax all-natural heavy duty fabric wax is made from the highest quality beeswax and proprietary blend of of plant-based waxes and oils. The first and only water repellent wax that doesn’t utilize paraffin, silicone, or other petroleum-based synthetic ingredients. SMOOTHING TOOL This is a great tool to have on hand when waxing up your fabrics. Once wax has been applied to the fabric, use the flat side of the tool to help press the wax deeper into the fabric to help create a better seal. The pointed edges of the tool can be used to remove any excess wax that may have accumulated in seams. Waxed fabrics typically develop creases over time. It's a matter of preference, but if you wish to remove these creases, you can do so easily by gently heating the fabric with a hair dryer, and using this tool to smooth the wax back into the fabric.
