Three individual components are attached with brass jump rings, to add movement and dimension to this style. The brass diamond shapes add some sparkle for a finishing touch! What makes these earrings special, is the hand fabricated 14K Gold filled ear wires. Most polymer clay earrings have post backs. This is because manufactured ear wires do not have loops big enough to accommodate the thickness of polymer clay. So clay artists use posts instead. I decided when I started experimenting with polymer clay, that I would create an ear wire to work with my designs. Many prototypes later - I have created a version I'm happy with.
